This integration is a one-way sync from Zendesk Support to ActiveCampaign, enabling you to manage your contact data in one centralized location. It can also be leveraged for automation triggers and personalized automated emails in ActiveCampaign.

Using Zendesk support with ActiveCampaign is crucial for reducing churn, as you can use informed and helpful data to guide your customer’s journeys. Let’s dive into how easy it is to set up your connection.

You can navigate to apps in your ActiveCampaign account at the bottom left of your screen, and search for Zendesk Support within our app directory.

The first thing you’ll do is add an account. To do this, you’ll need to grab the subdomain of your Zendesk URL. Once you have this, paste it into ActiveCampaign and click connect.

From here, there are just three simple steps:

1. **Setup**: Review the events to inform you that you will receive a ticket event in ActiveCampaign from Zendesk Support when tickets are created and updated.

2. **Event Data**: Review the data that will come with those Zendesk Support ticket events, including ticket status, ID, priority, description, subject, submitter, and URL.

3. **Mapping Data Fields**: Map the data fields to the contact record to ensure correct alignment between Zendesk Support and ActiveCampaign.

Once completed, you’ll see the resource as the ticket and the events as tickets created and updated, and the contact and ticket object updated in ActiveCampaign.

After the configuration, this integration works seamlessly as tickets are created and updated in Zendesk. You can confirm this by viewing the logs in ActiveCampaign.

By connecting Zendesk Support with ActiveCampaign, you can be more effective and efficient with your processes while keeping your customers and internal teams informed, crucial steps in the customer journey.
