What is a CRM [Video]

What is a CRM

What is a CRM

CRM stands for “Customer Relationship Management” and is a software system that helps business owners easily track all communications and nurture relationships with their leads and clients. A CRM replaces the multitude of spreadsheets, databases and apps that many businesses patch together to track client data.

The result: organization, efficiency, better time management, and impressed clients.

Client management platforms like CRMs connect all the data from your sales leads and customers, all in one place. A CRM consolidates all communications (form fills, calls, emails, text messages, and meetings), documents, quotes, purchases, and tasks associated with each lead and client. Your entire team can access those details at the right time–to close a sale or deliver outstanding service.

What Does a CRM System Do? – Contact management is the core function of any customer information system including CRM software. The purpose of a CRM is to store and manage all data for every kind of contact, from leads to business partners.

What a CRM Doesn’t Do
CRMs aren’t designed to help with backend operations like production, warehousing, shipping, engineering or finance.

And of course, CRM tools can’t manage what they can’t see. So if people work leads or deals outside the system, that lowers its effectiveness for the whole team.

Some CRM software is used for data management only. However, an all-in-one CRM system like Keap also offers important features like sales and marketing automation, landing pages, quotes, and invoicing to help entrepreneurs manage their entire businesses more efficiently.

Zoho CRM Dashboard & Reports Overview [Video]

Zoho CRM Tutorial Video #43 Today, we'll be discussing the Zoho CRM dashboard and reports overview. You could use the Reports module in Zoho CRM for tracking your company activity. There’s a list of system default reports available in this module, but you could also create custom reports. This is an example of the report pipeline by stages; you could see all deals pipeline groups by the stage, every account, every deal, closing date, probability, and total sum of amount. It is also possible to create a chart for some reports. When you build your report, you could select multiple modules; you could select a parent module, then additional child module, and even more. For example, you could see a report for all accounts with all invoices and all meetings inclusive or exclusive. An additional module in Zoho CRM is the analytics module. Here you could also check the system default dashboards, but also create your custom dashboard with different components. This is an example of lead conversion to the deal. So you could build a component where you could see the total number of leads, total number of leads converted into clients, number of deals created, deals won, and total conversion rate. It is also possible to create different kinds of analytics here. Charts, lists, and some other. That's it for today's Zoho CRM setup guide.______ BONUS !!!
