The Flow of Entrepreneurship – Business Briefing June 2021

Are you interested in starting a business or someday growing your existing small business? During this event, you will get a first-hand look at potential challenges and ways to be prepared when they do arise. Our speakers will walk you through the typical flow of entrepreneurship, while sharing lessons learned from their own experiences of owning a business.
During this Business Briefing, you will learn concepts you can put into action such as:
Starting the Business
How much money do I need to start a business?
What are some unknown costs that could arise?
What do I need to do to create efficient systems for my business?
Scaling the Business
How can I be prepared for the unexpected challenges that come up?
I don’t even know where to start when it comes to budgeting for staff, signage, leasing a space, etc.
Scaling my business into the next level has been frustrating. Is this normal?
How do I know when to start removing myself from the business and start trusting others?
Exiting the business
I love my business. Why would I want to think about an exit strategy?

Speakers:
Cindy Rayfield, Owner of Franchise Matchmakers and Cookie Cutters Hair Salons
Cindy worked in Corporate America for over 20 years before breaking the corporate chains in 2001. Early in the business ownership game, Cindy got good at the “jobby” (turning a hobby into a job) selling artsy crafty items – way before Etsy was even a thing. Since then, she has owned a few different businesses including a website and copywriting business, a publication franchise and a consulting practice. She is now a multi-unit owner of a children’s haircare franchise. Cindy loves all things franchising and has been a franchise broker since 2009, helping other find the perfect franchise fit. She is also a proud Colorado native and a graduate of the University of Denver.
