St. Tammany Corporation adopts new name | St. Tammany community news [Video]

The St. Tammany Corporation has renamed itself the St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation, or St. Tammany EDC, for short.

The new name is part of a strategic updated branding of the group that acts as the parish’s economic development arm, the group said.

Other updates include adoption of a business attraction and marketing plan and development of the organization’s second five-year economic development strategic plan, THRIVE2029.

“St. Tammany Economic Development Corporation is excited to build upon the foundational successes and outcomes of our first five-year economic development strategic plan, THRIVE2023, and step boldly into our next phase of economic development work on the Northshore,” said corporation CEO Chris Masingill.
