Local Business Helping other Entrepreneurs [Video]

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – There can sometimes be competition within the Savannah small business community.

But it is more common to find support, local entrepreneurs helping each other any way they can. And that support is about to gain new structure.

Cari Clark Phelps started her first business in Savannah 20 years ago and has operated several since then.

She now owns Salacia Salts, a natural skin care company, and has come up with a way to share her branding and marketing expertise with other companies.

Clark Phelps is starting the Savannah Small Business Showcase, with which she will invite a different small business into her shop on Montgomery Street every month for cross promotion and networking.

She hopes to bring increased attention to the businesses and will coordinate those events with online promotion through her Rising Tide social media campaigns that launched last month in an attempt to help …
