How to Start a Business as a Real Estate Agent

The number one platform I use and I feel like many people are still using is Facebook. There were changes in the algorithm, should you use a business page or should you use your personal page. All of those kinds of things changed over the decade that I’ve been doing this.

The number 1 easy way I started is I used my personal account and used it for my business. I’m not a person who likes to do a lot of drama, I’m kinda always in a neutral position and that’s just my position on things. However what we did is we did step 1 by adding a lot of friends. Treat them like a family.

Now you have an audience. What i was doing was posting funny stuff me and my wife goofing. People would come in all the time. People would think they know you so well on Facebook. We are building relationships with our audience.

We started blending in Real Estate. People need to be touched every 17 days to be able to remember that you are a realtor. You are posting to your clubs that you are into Real Estate. That you are looking for buyers and follow regulations. Reminding then that you are in Real Estate.

This cost nothing. The return on investment was massive.

So I encourage you now to do that. Now overtime has shifted to the real estate population, for coaching, mentoring and training things like that. Facebook is a platform that everybody knows.
