Hellmann’s dropped the teaser for its upcoming Super Bowl 59 ad, and you may want to listen closely.
In the 20-second teaser, a waitress meticulously reads back a woman’s long-winded sandwich order, which includes everything from turkey on rye with two whole lettuce sleeves to paper-thin tomatoes and one sour pickle sliced lengthwise. The spot then finishes with the off-camera woman asking for Hellmann’s mayonnaise “on the side.”
Sound familiar?
Set at New York City’s Katz’s Deli, the spot leans into nostalgia by presumably riffing off of the famous diner scene in the 1989 film When Harry Met Sally.
