Former Steeler headlines sports summit for students [Video]

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren native and founder/Chief Executive Coach of Game Changers, Michael Engram, is bringing a sports leadership summit to the Valley for high school athletes on how to thrive after their athletic careers.

Game Changers is a Valley-based nonprofit with the goal to make high school athletes successful after they graduate or after their collegiate career.

This is the 10th annual leadership summit and one of the headline speakers is Farrell native and former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Mike Adams.

“Transitioning that commitment, time management, discipline, teamwork over to what the next step looks like, either college, trades, military, directly into the workforce,” said Engram.

Engram is a Warren G. Harding grad who played football and track & field. He said he wanted to give back to kids who need a support system.
