Here ill explain to you how Starting A Business Whilst Working Full Time is a good idea. It’s not easy starting a business, when you have a full time job that takes up most of your time. So here I will share with you 7 good tips on Starting A Business Whilst Working Full Time.

So here’s Starting A Business Whilst Working Full Time

1) Identify and eliminate your bad habits

You might have habits you’ve developed over time that are doing you more harm than good.

Maybe you receive text messages and respond immediately, then spend hours on your phone.

Maybe you watch way too much TV after work.

Changing your habits takes time and effort but it will help you manage your time more effectively, so you have more time to do the things in life you enjoy.

Set specific times during the day to go on your mobile phone and cut down on the time you spend watching the TV. Find something more productive to do.

If you work full time and have a business, then you have very little time available. You need to really think about how you are spending your time.

Having a purpose and setting a goal will improve your time management.

I highly recommend you make your business your goal and make it something you enjoy and are passionate about.

The goal will inspire you to keep at it when times get tough.

If you are busy with a business, that is a worthwhile goal and your time is much better spent doing this, than watching TV or spending hours on your phone.

2) Get your calendar and make a plan

The best thing you can do is make a schedule. Set specific days and times in the week you are going to work on particular parts of the business. For instance you could set a Monday, Wednesday and Friday for doing emails, videos, copywriting and building your website. Then have Thursday and Saturday for making blogs and creating content and have Sunday off.

It all depends on the business you have.
Change the tasks around until you get into a good routine, that you are comfortable with, and can manage long term.

Then get into the habit of doing this new schedule every week and you will start to create great habits.

3) Do your urgent and important tasks first

Make a list of everything that needs to be done in the week and put the important and urgent tasks at the top.

When you do the most important tasks first, you will find you automatically you get more done and become more organised.

Cross them out as you complete them.

If you complete a really big task on your list, then reward yourself.

It’s a nice way to say well done to yourself. It also says keep going, you’re doing well.

4) Save the most important tasks, when you have the most energy

If you are a morning person then it’s a good time to schedule those in.

You’ll have more passion, determination, motivation and energy towards your business. That will shine through into your work.

5) Make special time for family and friends

It’s important to prioritize quality time with the people you love.

Time with family and friends is good so you can have a balanced and fulfilled life.

When you’re not working on your business and spending time with them, make sure you give them your love and full attention.

Be present in the moment and share what’s happening in your lives with each other.

If you have a business, then you won’t have much time to give them at the moment, so try to make a specific schedule were you’re doing something enjoyable together and spending quality time together.

6) Keep your focus in the moment

It’s important you concentrate on the task at hand.

If you are at work, with friends or working on your business, it’s important you are fully present in that task and with those people.

You will enjoy your time a lot more if you stay present at all times.

7) Take regular breaks

Taking regular breaks keeps you working at peak performance and ensures you don’t burn out.

With you having a business, full time job and maybe you have a family too, it’s crucial you take regular breaks to calm and relax your mind.

Working constantly is not good for your mental health. You will get more done if you do your work with a full recharged mental and physical battery, ready to go again.
