How to Calculate Sales Conversion Rate & Lead Value? Leads To Sales Conversion Rates

Your strategic marketing plan and strategy to generate the required leads. To reach your revenue goals with this strategy, you need to know 3 things: the gross amount of leads needed each month, the average transaction amount, and the sales conversion rate. From there you can extrapolate, taking into account the number of sales, what you need to target to reach your financial goals. For example; if your Revenue goal is $200,000 per month, and your average transaction size is $2,500, then you need 80 transactions. However, we need to take into account your average conversion rate from Lead to close of sale on those 80 transactions. So, if your conversion rate is, say, 30%, then we divide 80 by 30% and we get 267, so we need 267 Leads per month, to close 80 transactions at $2,500 per transaction to get to our goal of $200,000 in Sales/Revenue.
