5 Tips For Creating A Solid Introduction When Scripting In Real Estate

Creating a solid introduction when scripting in real estate is a must, even with the perfect script if your introduction isn’t polished your lead conversion will suffer. Follow these 5 tips for You have a very short amount of time to capture a real estate lead’s attention, nail your intro and your conversion will increase!

Do Not Ask How Are You – it’s our instinct to do that but, it creates distrust. Say I’m Amanda Davidson calling with eXp Realty and I’m here to find out more about your house at X or if it’s an expired listing I’m here to find out if you’re still interested in selling your house at X.

Don’t Go Negative – by this I mean don’t start out with a negative such as I’m sorry to bug you (FSBO) or I’m sure you’re not looking to move (Circle Prospecting), or I’m sure you’re sick of hearing from a bunch of agents (Expired). Focus on what you want to get which is a yes to a listing or preview appointment and if it’s a buyer yes to a consultation or getting pre-approved.

Use Their Name – everyone likes to hear their name. It creates a connection and it’s familiar. Hey Carole I saw you were looking at homes in Alexandria and I want to get some more information.

Get To The Point – people are busy, so convey why you are calling concisely and quickly. It shows you respect their time and are courteous.

Start/End Matter Most – master your intro and your wrap-up. They won’t remember the middle. The end is especially important because you need to set expectations. That could be I’ll reach back out to you in a week or I’ll see you on X day at X time.
