WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Excitement is revving up in Winston-Salem as the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds prepares for fans traveling from outside of the Triad to set up camp for this weekend’s highly anticipated Cook Out Clash.
For many fans, camping out is a part of the NASCAR experience. Ahead of Friday, when campers will start to arrive, maintenance at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds has been checking each site where campers will set up to make sure it’s ready for their stay.

“So, we’re really excited to host our campers and we’re getting prepared all this week,” said Lili Craven, Winston-Salem Fairgrounds marketing and branding manager.
