BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – It’s one of the largest employers and universities in the state, and now UAB is getting a brand new logo. The goal is to connect everything at UAB to one place, from the university to the hospital.
Marketing strategists have been working on this with their brand committee, including input from alumni, students, and healthcare employees. They were all asked what UAB stands for and what that looks like. They aim to take those answers and create a new logo to keep their branding consistent, whether you’re a student or a doctor.
Chief Marketing Officer Rosie O’Beirne says this is important not only for UAB now, but also for years to come.
