The city of Tipton has its first brand identity, and it leans into the potential of the small town.
The city announced Monday its new tagline or branding called “Rooted in Opportunities.”
It’s based on research from last year including focus groups with residents, students and business owners. A new strategic vision, called “Tipton Thrives” also came out of the conversations.
“Tipton is a community that embraces its deep roots and boundless potential. The ‘Tipton Thrives’ strategic vision and our new brand identity — ‘Rooted in Opportunities’ — reflect our commitment to investing in the future while honoring our past,” Mayor Kegan Schmicker said in a statement.
Tipton’s strategic plan has six priorities. They are building a leadership team; a marketing campaign to bolster community pride; invest in arts programming; economic development including housing and downtown developments; sustainable public safety; and high-quality infrastructure.
