How to start a business even at age of 77? | Urmila Jamnadas Asher and Harsh Asher | TEDxAIIMSPatna [Video]

What are your retirement plans? A quiet place, far away from the hustle and bustle of life? Or sleepy mornings, walks and TV?Hold onto that thought, for we have Urmila Jamnadas Asher, a 77 year old who proved that age is no bar to entrepreneurship. Having suffered the loss of her children and after almost losing her grandson to a severe accident, she buoyed on- chirpy, energetic and full of life. Harsh, her grandson who says he began his “second innings” joined hands with his grandmother to start, set up and run a successful business amidst the pandemic, even as people lost jobs and went bankrupt. Learn how they did it- at 77! Life was ruthless for Urmila Jamnadas Asher. But she chose to deal with it through not giving up and being there for others. With her grandson Harsh Asher who runs “Gujjuben ka Nashta”, they are sorting tea-time and snack-time for many in Maharashtra. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
