Building a Business – Ep. 1 – Installing Proxmox as our Base Orchestration Server. [Video]

For those who don’t know it, @IBRACORP and I have both covered Proxmox in the past. It is an incredibly powerful Virtualization Orchestrator. After talking a bit about it, we determined this would be what we would both want to use in a business built solely on Open Source. Initial Assumptions:1. You have done your homework to find hardware to run Proxmox On. I believe it will run on a Raspberry PI 4, but if you are starting a business for Tech Consulting, which is the generalized business we will be starting in this series, you want to have something with a bit more power than that.2. You are running on a fairly simple “home” style network at the moment. Not to worry, we’ll be covering how we want to handle our network in Episode 2. First, we need proxmox setup, as it allows us to virtualize our network Firewall / Router.Major props to IBRACORP. We did a screen share, but he really did all of the install and setup. My recording didn’t turn out, and the audio was even worse due to some storms in my area that day. IBRACORP edited, and made available his recording for both channels. So please, make sure to go over to the @IBRACORP channel and give this video a Thumbs Up, and if you haven’t already, subscribe to his channel as well.
