Perhaps this is the very first step you’ve taken to begin working with an executive coach…or maybe you’ve worked with an executive coach before but now you’re ready to work with someone different…whatever the cause of your visit, WELCOME!To me, Executive coaching is 3 things: First, it’s an investment…an investment in you with a tremendous return on your outcomes and achieving goals you thought weren’t possible.Second, it’s a trusted partnership between the client and the coach; as the coach I become attached to you and to what you want to achieve through the experience. And third, it’s a journey of self-discovery and increased self-awareness that allows you to explore more and more about you, your life, and how to get the most out of it.The coaching experience? Well, you actually define and decide what that looks. You decide what you want to accomplish and what you want to achieve and then together with your coach, you achieve everything you want to and maybe even more. At the bottom of my website, www.yourlifesdirection.org, you will be asked to select a time when you and I can begin the coaching process. During this initial conversation we will discuss your goals for coaching, why you think coaching is right for you, and how I, as your coach, can best support you. The more you and I understand each other and are on the same page with regard to what coaching is, the better we will work together.As you begin to think about coaching, here’s what I would recommend for you. Think about your goals…what can I help you to achieve for your self that you’ve not been able to achieve on your own. What’s prevented you to be successful? Spend some time thinking about your values; what’s important to you and what do you find meaningful in your life? Reflect as well, on your past successes…what made you successful?, what skills did you use?, and what do want to continue to use going forward.I also want to provide a brief outline of what to expect if we work together. In our first session we will confirm your goals and we will agree to how we work together…you will commit to certain action and of course I will commit to certain actions as well. In each session I will ask what you want to achieve and how at the end of the session, you will know you’ve reached your goal. I will want to explore why this goal is important to you and how it fits into your overall coaching goals. I will also want to hear what obstacles you need to remove in order to be successful. From there…well that’s when the excitement begins and it’s when you begin unlocking the unique wisdom and insights you have to achieve success and fulfillment.Thank you for your listening to this brief video!
