Surveys show increase in millennials, out-of-towners moving to Paradise | News [Video]

The Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce is looking into marketing and branding strategies for the town as the population climbs to roughly 9,000 people.

PARADISE, Calif. – New surveys show more detail about who is moving to the ridge after the Camp Fire. The Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce teamed up with a branding company to survey the community.

Four community surveys were conducted and got more than 660 responses in the community. The chamber said one of its next steps is developing a brand website.

“One thing they found out is our population has shifted from those in the Camp Fire that are rebuilding to residents that chiefly haven’t lived here before,” Executive Director Monica Nolan said.

Nolan said she thinks there are a few factors driving the change from the types of property available to outdoor recreation, and schools.
