STARTING A BUSINESS – Vlog 9 – All Star Weekend [Video]

STARTING A BUSINESS – Vlog 9 – All Star Weekend

For the first time, I was able to show Benji Ball off to hundreds of people at one time. This past weekend I flew out to Houston for the annual Miracle League All Star Game. This is where Miracle League Athletes from all across the country fly in for a weekend of fun and games to show off their skills. I brought the Benji Ball sets and set up a table. Hundreds of people came by and got to demo the game. I was able to get lots of great feedback and build excitement around the brand. It was incredible to see everyone who was trying it out get some great hits and enjoy it. Stay tuned for some more great videos and photos coming out!

My goal with these vlogs is to give you an all access behind the scenes look at the journey of starting a business. From the highs of getting product in hand, to the lows of possibly feeling lost and not knowing what to do next. I want to be as transparent as possible and allow you to feel like you are right alongside me throughout the journey.

PCI students launch businesses and give back to community - PortageOnline.com [Video]

Students in the applied commerce program at Portage Collegiate Institute showcased their business ventures last week after a semester of hard work. The event featured student-run companies offering everything from custom apparel and cleaning services to marketing strategies and community-focused food programs. Gavin Taylor, who teaches applied commerce at PCI, says the event gives students a real taste of entrepreneurship. Weve got some students selling lip gloss, bracelets, snacks, social media marketing services, house cleaning, clothing, lots of variety, notes Taylor. Each visitor acts as a judge, receiving ten $1,000 PCI Bucks to invest in their favourite student businesses. Though friendly, the competition is designed to simulate real-world decision-making and customer engagement. googletag.cmd.push(function() { if($(document).width()
