PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — ‘Small Business Development Center Day’ celebrates the efforts of those who help small business owners with the headaches that can come with starting a business.
The center at Bradley University hosted a celebration inside the Business and Engineering Convergence Center on campus, complete with snacks and recognition for those who have been helped on their path to business success.
There are experts in international trade, government contracting, technology commercialization, and more providing advice to small business owners as they maneuver the growth of their business.
Eric Sampson is the director of the center, and said the work they do is important.
“The backbone of the success of the economy in the United States is really dependent upon small business and innovation around small business,” he said.
