Proud parent gushes RTE star Doireann Garrihy as she supports former 2FM pal on new career venture [Video]

RTE star Doireann Garrihy has said she’s a “proud parent” after sharing her support for her former 2FM co-host Donncha O’Callaghan.

The popular presenter stepped down from her hit 2FM breakfast show back in May in order to “pursue other projects”.

Just two months later her fellow co-host Donncha followed suit in a “difficult decision” move.

Now, Carl Mullan is the only breakfast show host holding the fort out of the dynamic trio.

The famous pals have been open about their close friendship both on and off screen.

Yesterday, Doireann and Carl travelled to Cork to show their support for Donncha as he launched his first ever kids book.

Doireann took to Instagram after the event to share a cute snap of the trio all grinning from ear-to-ear as they reunited.
