EASTON, Pa. – An Easton establishment is marking the end of an era.
Porters’ Pub now has new owners, the restaurant and bar announced on Thursday.
Larry, Ken and Jeff Porter started the pub 35 years ago and have run it ever since.
They sold the business to Ryan and Christine Piper, a couple with deep roots at Porters’, the news release says.
Ryan and Christine met at Porters’ in the early 2000s and eventually got married. Christine served as the front-of-the-house manager, while Ryan worked in the kitchen and bartended.
Recently, Ryan has been working at offsite events like Baconfest and Easton Winter Village, while Christine has been helping with the pub’s marketing and branding efforts.
