Personal Branding Tips | Business Branding | Diffrence Between Personal & Business Branding #shorts

We often see vision and mission statements listed together as one. You seldom see them separately. It is one reason why it’s so easy to get them mixed up.

So what’s the difference? This is perhaps the easiest way to differentiate them.

A mission statement outlines all the things your company is doing in the present to reach your goal, while a vision statement describes what your company is building toward in the future.

A mission statement expresses your company’s core values and purpose.

A vision statement describes the future-facing goals and ambitions of your company.

Here are Starbucks’ Vision & Mission Statements as an example.

Starbucks Vision:
“to establish Starbucks as the premier purveyor of the finest coffee in the world while maintaining our uncompromising principles while we grow.”

Starbucks Mission:
“to inspire and nurture the human spirit—one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time.”

I hope this post helps clarify between the two.
