MILES CITY, Mont. – The 74th annual Bucking Horse Sale in Miles City is not just about the traditional festivities this year. Governor Greg Gianforte and the Montana Department of Commerce have announced a significant rebranding for the state.
The last time Montana updated its brand was 16 years ago. While the previous brand aimed to attract visitors from outside the state, the new initiative shifts focus back to Montanans themselves.
Governor Gianforte emphasized the importance of this change, stating, “We’ll this is a huge deal both for the state of Montana but it’s so important we did it here at the bucking horse sale this new brand is about telling the truth about Montana about the people about our way of life about the opportunity that exists in our community.”
