BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The Maranathan Academy is a non-profit alternative school situated in Birmingham. It was founded 32 years ago to save the lives of critically at-risk youth.
In her latest book, “This Way to Hope,” Donna Dukes, director and founder of the academy, delves into the little-known world of students from underserved communities.
The book launch is scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Summit Shopping Mall branch of Barnes & Noble.
