I once had a student who went into manufacturing a particular product because her friends and family thought it was profitable.
Guess what ,none of them was ready to buy when it arrived.Some said it was expensive ,while some wanted on credit.
Ask yourself if there is an existing market for your product and carefully examine the Market you are going into to know all the odds.
Consult people who are already in that same business and produced result and use whatever advice they give you to the latter.
