How to Choose a Niche for Self-Publishing Books:
There are so many niches and genres to self publish in how do you know which one to focus on?
In last weeks video I mentioned that one of the big mistakes I made early on was spreading myself over too many niches/genres.
That really resonated with many of you because I got an overwhelming amount of comments and emails telling me they were in the same boat and how do I pick a genre or niche.
So in today’s video, I’m going to show you a super simple method that I use to choose a nice or genre to self publish in.
Here’s what info we’re going to capture:
Niches/Genres
Interest (favorite is 1, etc)
Can I publish in it consistently (1 yes, 9 no)
How frequently I can publish in it (weekly, monthly, quarterly, twice a year, yearly)
Average BSR (20k-50k, 51k-100k, 10k-19k, 101k+
Competition list ()
Comp rank
Average reviews (#)
Rank reviews
