Meet Allen Elmore of AE Properties in New Mexico. He earned the Icon Award from EXP Realty for being one of the top producing realtors.
He used to own a print classified ads paper and a marketing company. Due to covid, most of their previous clients are out of the business permanently or shut down temporarily. And as the business wasn’t making financial sense anymore, he thought of looking for something else to do – which led him to the real estate business.
The first thing he did was increase his social media presence, then started to share about what he was doing and talk about real estate. He followed and met with home and pest inspectors, appraisers and other realtors who were doing the same thing as he was. They helped him do cross promotions. And even he was not yet licensed at that time, there were already two buyers and a seller waiting for him to be licensed.
He maximizes the use of social media to promote his business and target relevant audiences. In real estate market, Facebook seems to be the largest among other platforms.
