Remi Kent is leaving Progressive after serving a three-and-a-half-year stint as its chief marketing officer.
An industry veteran, Kent was responsible for leading Progressive’s brand and marketing strategy, marketing research, insights, analytics, consumer and customer marketing, internal and external communications, digital and mass advertising, and Ninety6, the company’s in-house agency.
“Since joining in 2021, Remi and her team have redefined what marketing can deliver for our brand, our business, and our people,” Progressive CEO Tricia Griffith said in a statement. “She and her team launched Progressive’s brand purpose and led a campaign that delivered performance across key business metrics—resonating deeply with consumers, customers, and employees alike.”
Griffith noted that Kent will be leaving the insurance company “with plans to focus on her family,” and that a search for its next CMO will begin immediately.
