Big crowd expected for Donal Reid Book Launch [Video]

The final preparations have been made for the launch of Donal Reid’s autobiograph, ‘Confessions of a Gaelic Footballer’, on Saturday night in the Abbey Hotel. A large number of the All-Ireland winning squads from 1992 and 2012 are expected to attend.The format of the launch will be kept simple and the night will be mostly one of nostalgia with time to recall the great events such as the All-Ireland successes at U-21 and senior. 2017 will mark the 25th anniversary of the 1992 All-Ireland senior success, and Monday last, 17th October, was the 34th anniversary of the big breakthrough for the GAA in Donegal, the All-Ireland U-21 success.There are many other personalities from the GAA and sport world expected for the launch which begins at 8 p.m. and there will be an opportunity to get the book signed by Donal.There will be a free draw for a book for all …
