SAN DIEGO — It’s a homecoming, of sorts, for Seana Smith who is returning to La Jolla to launch a new book and thank the community who supported her through her most challenging years. Born intersex, once a college athlete with a mega-watt smile and larger than life personality, Seana found herself homeless, sleeping outside the La Jolla Recreation Center. But an empathetic soul, an unexpected friendship and a caring community stepped up and changed the course of her life forever.  I, SEAN/A is an extraordinary story that celebrates the power of resilience, faith, kindness, love and the strength of the human spirit.
