RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Nanda Reddy is a local author who’s first novel was published March 4, 2025. As part of her book launch, Reddy stopped by Morning Break to talk about what it’s like finally have “A Girl Within a Girl Within a Girl” out there for the world to read.
Synopsis:
In this story of identity and immigration, Maya, an Indo-Guyanese woman, grapples with revealing her hidden past to her husband of decades. To save her marriage and reunite with her estranged deaf sister, who is gravely ill, Maya must reconcile the many versions of herself, potentially revealing herself to a man with a vendetta. This is a novel that asks: “Can you ever leave your past behind, or does your past define you?”
There will also be a book launch party Saturday, March 8 at 5 p.m. at the Sierra Arts Gallery.
