Apple is planning to incorporate Apple Intelligence into the Vision Pro as early as April, Bloomberg reports.
The report comes just a few days after the $3,500 device turned a year old. The new features will be part of the visionOS 2.4 software upgrade, and they could reportedly become available for developers in beta this week. This update will bring familiar features such as Writing Tools, Genmoji, and Image Playground, but Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman didn’t mention any unique features that will come with the integration.
This marks the first time Apple has expanded Apple Intelligence outside its core products, such as the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, but it shouldn’t be much of a surprise, as the Vision Pro’s specs—with an M2 chipset and 16GB RAM—easily rival the iPad Pro or a MacBook Air and can handle plenty of AI-processing.
