The team behind the award-winning The Guam Brewery is expanding into spirits with the launch of Flying Proa gin, the first product from their new venture, Åguayente Distillers. The locally crafted gin will debut this Friday at The Guam Brewery Taphouse in Tumon.
According to a press release from the distiller, Flying Proa gin combines traditional gin botanicals with locally sourced lemon grass, reflecting both the island’s heritage and modern craft distilling techniques. The product draws inspiration from Guam’s rich maritime history and CHamoru seafaring traditions.
