BMI Supports Song Arts Academys Six-Week Songwriters Workshop Starting February 18 | News [Video]

BMI is proud to support Song Arts Academy’s six-week Songwriters Workshop starting Tuesday, Feb. 18, in person and simultaneously live on Zoom. Seasoned and developing songwriters will acquire new and competitive writing skills using SAA’s “Advanced Song Craft” and re-writing tools designed to unmask the creative codes driving today’s hit songs.

Members will write and rewrite five original songs during the workshop using our momentum strategies and other advanced skill sets designed to utilize the melodic and lyrical techniques used in contemporary pop. Taught by SAA founder, Billy Seidman, author of The Elements of Song Craft, workshop alumni include hit songwriters, GRAMMY-winners and major label artists.

The workshop meets six consecutive Tuesday evenings: 2/18, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, & 3/25 (from 7pm to 9:15pm EST) Live on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and on Zoom. The cost is $600.00.
