A LEADING marketing expert has slammed Coca-Cola’s new controversial holiday advertisement generated by artificial intelligence, branding it cold and ineffective.
Mara Einstein, who was featured in a new Netflix documentary released this month exposing the dark arts used by major brands, said Coke’s recent marketing campaign was “so fake” and would not work to draw people into the brand.
Coke has faced backlash online over its new Christmas advertisement made with artificial intelligence, with users calling it “soulless”.
The 2024 ad released in November features big red Coca-Cola trucks driving through the snow with people wearing knitted hats and holding Coke bottles.
The ad was a remake of a 1995 commercial titled “Holidays are Coming” which was made of real trucks and humans.
