Apple has one more AI drop in store for consumers this year.
Apple Intelligence, its highly anticipated genAI software, launched with the first set of features on October 28, and the tech giant said it plans to continue the rollout in December.
Apple said it plans to build out Apple Intelligence over the next several months, with drops in December and April. The new AI software is only available on iPhone 15 Pro or later.
Its upcoming launch is expected to be on December 2 as part of the iOS 18.2 update, in time for the holiday season, according to Bloomberg. Apple said it will include updates to the writing tools feature to handle more specific requests, the introduction of ChatGPT, and Apple’s new visual intelligence tool.
With visual intelligence, Apple said iPhone 16 owners can use their new Camera Control button to get information on objects or places — or translate languages with AI.
