YouTube Video To Podcast Workflow (Step By Step)

I outline my step-by-step ‘video to podcast’ workflow. This video is in response to comments after my ‘Making Magic With Podcasts’ video which you can view here: https://youtu.be/9BM_gkIPJjAI use Zoom, my phone and a ring light to record. I have EpocCamPro app on my phone, with their suggested app on my computer to hook up the two. I use an ancient version of Camtasia to edit, then export the audio and video to my desktop. I use Canva to create the thumbnail, Auphonic to ‘equalise’ the sound and add an intro & outro to the audio, before uploading to my podcast host Libsyn (but you could use Anchor or AudioBoom who offer statistics). Then I embed the video from YouTube and an audio player from Libsyn in a blog post, which I then share to my Facebook profile, my Facebook page, Twitter & Instagram, and of course.
