Ways I Repurpose Solo Podcast Content [Video]

Hey there, in this video, I’ll be sharing with you some of the ways I repurpose my solo podcast content on social media platforms and other websites. It’s a lot of effort to create content, so why not get the most out of it and increase the reach of your brand and business? Most of these strategies revolve around video podcasts, but don’t worry, if you don’t have a video podcast, there are still some helpful tips for you too.The first thing you can do is create reels or short form vertical videos. You can use tools like StreamYard to record your video podcast and then clip out the best bits to make 60-second reels. This is a great way to repurpose your content and reach a wider audience. You can also use this strategy for interview podcasts.Another way to repurpose your content is by live streaming your podcast. You can live stream your podcast on multiple platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn to double your exposure. You can use StreamYard to connect to these platforms and record your live stream at the same time.YouTube clips are another great way to repurpose your content. You can take small clips, between 1.5 to 5 minutes long, and use them for searchable or usable pieces of content. You can even create a separate YouTube channel just for clips. If you want to turn your audio podcast into written content, you can use software like Otter.ai or Descript to transcribe your podcast. Once you have the transcript, you can use a tool like ChatGPT to turn it into a blog post. You can then use this blog post on your website or LinkedIn articles to reach a wider audience. You can also embed the video podcast episode and links to the audio versions on your blog post for an all-around pack. These are just some of the ways you can repurpose your solo podcast content. I hope you find them helpful and start implementing them to get the most out of your content.0:00 introduction 0:57 using reels as a solo podcaster 1:57 using live streams as a solo podcaster2:52 using youtube clips as a solo podcaster4:05 using blogs as a solo podcasterFREE PODCAST COURSE 🎙5 steps to launch your podcast ⬇️https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZfFY_t1htNyPUf34wYsGYxDfMUO-Pygs⚫ Here are links to the software that I use to create my Podcast and YouTube content ⚫ My favorite podcast hosting platform (Buzzsprout) https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1804826 The software I use to record and edit my videos (Streamyard) 14 Day free trail https://streamyard.com?fpr=ashborland The software I use to create all my graphics, cover art, and thumbnails (Canva) https://partner.canva.com/c/2602541/647168/10068 Where I get my Broll from (Storyblocks) https://www.storyblocks.com/Where I get my FREE Copyright free music (Creator Mix)https://creatormix.com/How I edit my podcast into short vertical videos (Descript) https://www.descript.com/The software I use for booking guests (Calandly)https://calendly.com/Disclaimer: Some of these links go to one of my websites and some are affiliate links where I’ll earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you. #podcastingtips #podcasttips #podcasting #podcast

How I Find Inspiration For New Solo Podcast Episode Ideas [Video]

Are you struggling to come up with new ideas for your solo podcast episodes? As a solo podcaster, coming up with fresh and engaging topics can be a daunting task. But don’t worry, in this video, I will guide you through my process of finding inspiration for new solo podcast ideas. The first place I go to for inspiration is frequently asked questions (FAQ). It’s a goldmine for content ideas because these are the questions that your audience wants answers to. I do a weekly Q&A live stream for my podcast, and I save the questions in OneDrive to use them in future episodes. This is a great way to create content that your listeners specifically want because they asked for it.Another source of inspiration for me is news. I keep track of the latest news stories and articles within my industry and create episodes on topics that I feel I have a take on that could be relevant. This is a great way to stay current and provide your listeners with fresh content.Artificial intelligence (AI) is another tool that I use to find inspiration for my podcast episodes. I use tools like ChatGPT and GBT to ask the most asked questions around my specific topic. I answer these questions in my episodes, and this is a great way to create content that addresses the concerns of your audience.Instagram is also a great platform for finding inspiration. I love using carousels to create content ideas. You can search for hashtags related to your topic, and this will bring up carousels created by other creators. These carousels often contain bullet points with information that you can use as a reference for your podcast episodes. Finally, YouTube is an excellent source of inspiration. I search for channels related to my topic and watch their content to see what they are discussing. This helps me to stay informed and provides me with new ideas for my podcast episodes. In conclusion, finding inspiration for your solo podcast episodes can be a challenge, but there are many ways to make it easier. Use tools like FAQ, news, AI, Instagram, and YouTube to create fresh and engaging content that your audience will love. With these tips, you’ll never run out of solo podcast ideas again!0:00 Introduction 0:21 Frequently asked questions 1:30 Latest News2:04 Using AI to get solo podcast ideas 3:05 Instagram for solo podcast ideas 4:47 Youtube titles ideas for podcastsFREE PODCAST COURSE 🎙5 steps to launch your podcast ⬇️https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZfFY_t1htNyPUf34wYsGYxDfMUO-Pygs⚫ Here are links to the software that I use to create my Podcast and YouTube content ⚫ My favorite podcast hosting platform (Buzzsprout) https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1804826 The software I use to record and edit my videos (Streamyard) 14 Day free trail https://streamyard.com?fpr=ashborland The software I use to create all my graphics, cover art, and thumbnails (Canva) https://partner.canva.com/c/2602541/647168/10068 Where I get my Broll from (Storyblocks) https://www.storyblocks.com/Where I get my FREE Copyright free music (Creator Mix)https://creatormix.com/How I edit my podcast into short vertical videos (Descript) https://www.descript.com/The software I use for booking guests (Calandly)https://calendly.com/Disclaimer: Some of these links go to one of my websites and some are affiliate links where I’ll earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you. #podcastingtips #podcasttips #solopodcast podcasting #podcast

Should I Invest In Professional Editing For My Solo Podcast [Video]

In this video, we address a common question that arises among solo podcasters: “Should I invest in professional editing or production services for my solo podcast?” As someone who has been in the podcasting game for quite some time now, I have a unique take on this topic. My short answer is no, at least not when you’re just starting out. There are a few reasons for this. Firstly, as a solo podcaster, budget constraints are likely a concern. Investing in editing services, hosting fees, software, and equipment can quickly add up and become expensive. Secondly, in the beginning, your audience is likely to be small. Therefore, investing in top-notch audio quality may not be necessary. Most listeners will be forgiving and simply want to hear you being real. It’s better to focus on delivering valuable content than perfecting the audio quality. However, there are some pros to investing in professional editing and production services. If your podcast grows to a point where it can fund these expenses, it may be worth considering. Also, if you’ve reached a capacity where you want to offload tasks, it might make sense to hire someone to edit your audio. But until your podcast becomes self-sufficient, it’s best to double down on improving your podcasting skills and learn how to edit your own audio. Don’t invest money in highly editing a solo podcast just for the professional sound, only to have a handful of people listen to it. Instead, focus on creating valuable content and let the quality of your podcast evolve over time. Remember, done is better than perfect. Watch the full video to learn more about my thoughts on investing in professional editing and production services for your solo podcast.FREE PODCAST COURSE 🎙5 steps to launch your podcast ⬇️https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZfFY_t1htNyPUf34wYsGYxDfMUO-Pygs⚫ Here are links to the software that I use to create my Podcast and YouTube content ⚫ My favorite podcast hosting platform (Buzzsprout) https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1804826 The software I use to record and edit my videos (Streamyard) 14 Day free trail https://streamyard.com?fpr=ashborland The software I use to create all my graphics, cover art, and thumbnails (Canva) https://partner.canva.com/c/2602541/647168/10068 Where I get my Broll from (Storyblocks) https://www.storyblocks.com/Where I get my FREE Copyright free music (Creator Mix)https://creatormix.com/How I edit my podcast into short vertical videos (Descript) https://www.descript.com/The software I use for booking guests (Calandly)https://calendly.com/Disclaimer: Some of these links go to one of my websites and some are affiliate links where I’ll earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you. #podcastingtips #podcasttips #podcasting #podcast

In order to make a podcast available to listeners, the audio files need to be stored on a server that is accessible over the internet.Podcast hosting services provide the storage space and bandwidth necessary to distribute audio files to listeners. They typically offer features such as RSS feed generation, analytics, and support for monetization. Some popular podcast hosting services include Buzzsprout, Libsyn, and Podbean. When you use a podcast hosting service, you upload your audio files to the service’s server, and the service generates an RSS feed that can be used to distribute your podcast to directories like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts.
