The Number 1 Hack to Collect More Emails [Video]

The number one hack to collect more emails. Have you ever heard of the saying that the money’s in the list? The more emails you collect, the more revenue you will generate. Years and years ago when I was starting out marketing, keep in mind, I’ve been doing this for 21 years now, I met an individual named John Reese. He had this site back in the day called income.com and he had a fish tank that was so big, people would scuba dive into his fish tank to clean it and this was in his house. Now when I talked to John, I’m like, how’d you do so well, how’d you generate all this income, years and years ago when I was in Florida, he’s like through email list. It’s your ATM. I’m like ATM? He’s like, yeah, it’s a digital ATM. If you need money, you just send out an email blast. He’s like, instead of going to a physical ATM and putting in a card and putting in your pin, all you do is just send out an email list and you generate income. And he’s like, what’s better about that versus a real ATM is he’s like when you go to the real ATM, you’re actually taking from your savings. When you send out an email blast, more money just comes in. So today I’m going to share with you the best way to collect emails because you need to build up that digital ATM. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Privy: https://www.privy.com/Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________So what’s this way, it’s called spin the wheel. Have you ever seen Wheel of Fortune? It’s the TV show, super popular. Why, people love playing games. So why not add them to your site? Just look at this example here, you can add a spinning wheel to the bottom left or right side of your website so when someone clicks, there will see a wheel with a lot of things that they can win. And when they click on it and they put in their name and email address to get that free spin, you will collect their email address. Just make sure that your options on the wheel are amazing because if they aren’t, people won’t spin the wheel. On some of my sites, I offer free consultations, eBooks, courses, even free coaching calls with me. You’re probably wondering Neil, that’s crazy, but here’s the thing. When you have tons of options and a few of them are really amazing, people will spin to try to win and it helps you generate a lot of emails. It’s so effective for every 100 visitors you have. If your offers are great, you’ll find that you’ll click 2.3 to 3.8 unique emails and I say unique because some people try putting in their emails over and over again, not really unique, to try to get multiple spins. Most software solutions like Privy will try to stop that or what you’ll find is some people put in two, three of their own email addresses to try to win that lucrative free prize. Oh, and if you’re wondering how to add this to your site, as I mentioned, you can just use tools like Privy. There’s a lot of other solutions out there. I use a custom home grown one and it works super well. Now keep in mind, if you collect an email from spin the wheel, it won’t convert as well as let’s say someone comes to your website and fills out a lead form saying, hey, I want consulting, but it still works. My team has closed multiple six figure deals from that spin the wheel. Now a lot of the leads won’t convert, but still a portion of them do. So don’t just use the spin the wheel, try maybe lead forms or content blockers or content upgrades. You can even try things like exit popups and quiz. Use a lot of different options, but adding spin the wheel to your arsenal is a great way to collect more emails. 8 Things That Are RUINING Your eCommerce Sales [Video]

Hey what are the things that you need to do to make things work? And what are the things that are going to hurt your e-commerce store? Today, I’m going to go over a few things that I’ve tried and tested and hacked, that you can use to start improving your conversions and recover thousands of dollars in lost revenue. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Shopify: https://www.shopify.com/Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________Mistake number one, not optimizing for mobile. According to Otterbox, during the first month of 2021, 79% of smartphone users purchase something online at least once. And beyond that, 80% of shoppers use a mobile phone inside a physical store to either look up product reviews, compare prices, or find alternative store locations. Mistake number two, low-quality product photos. Only 0.52% of consumers want to see a single product photo. While 33.16% prefer to have opportunity to browse through multiple photos according to Shopify’s studies on consumer preferences. Mistake number three, not using social proof to your advantage. The majority of people read online reviews and a whopping 93% of consumers say that reviews influence their purchasing decision. So make sure that you’re encouraging people to leave reviews as well, whether they’re good or bad. Mistake number four, not staying in touch with customers and leads. You’re not staying in touch. You won’t make as much money. We all know that email marketing is the key for e-commerce success. You need to stay in touch with them. But SMS marketing seems to be lacking in most businesses. SMS comes with impressive 98% open rates and is one of the most responsive marketing channels in general.Mistake number five, failing to improve your average order value. You may think that the secret to e-commerce success is acquiring new customers, and that’s perfectly fine. But focusing on increasing the purchase value that each customer makes on your website can drive amazing results. To understand the value of this, you need to look at the cost for your marketing efforts for each new customer. Mistake number six, bad product descriptions. Your product description should explain to your audience why they need your product. You need to sell it. If you aren’t selling in your description, you’re making a mistake. You should also include information on how your product can benefit them. So it’s not just about describing features, but also making sure that users understand the transformational impact that your product will have on their lives. Mistake number seven, poor on-site search experience. Have you ever tried to find a product on a website and you see a list of completely irrelevant results? Well, it’s pretty frustrating, isn’t it? On-site search should serve results according to the users’ on-site behavior in a way that gives them the most relevant results possible. Using auto complete also to help get the product that they want faster, so they don’t have to type everything in as well. And most good e-commerce platforms have this built-in. Mistake number eight, complex checkout experience. Look, if you put a lot of obstacles in front of your shoppers in order for them to complete their purchases, your conversions are going to tank. I recommend that you also add PayPal as a checkout option. With Shopify, you know there’s a ShopPay that also helps boost conversions. But everything that we’ve tested with e-commerce, when people don’t use PayPal, their conversions aren’t as good. So many e-commerce users use PayPal as a checkout option. And what we’ve seen is when you include it as a payment option, you usually get somewhere around a 18% increase in revenue. You should test it out for yourself, but it’s a massive win. 7 Ecommerce Marketing Secrets You Can Learn From Big Brands [Video]

Do you want to learn the secrets that big brands use to create massive e-commerce stores? Today I’m going to break down seven e-commerce marketing secrets you can learn from big brands. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Spiralyze: https://www.spiralyze.com/ Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________So let’s dive right in. Number one, nail your product page, from meta descriptions to title text, to even the title and description on your homepage or of your product page or your listing pages. And you want the optimal format. Natural, compelling clickworthy pages that are easy to navigate. I recommend that you add multiple, high-quality product shots. And ideally, if you can do 3D views, even better. Clearly articulate your product descriptions and what is it that you’re selling? How is it made, highlight the stories, the history behind the product, turn the features into benefits, and use both logical copy and emotional.Number two, use persuasive copy and words. It’s all about copywriting. If you can convince people to convert, you’re going to be better off. It’s all about conversion optimization. There’s a lot of cool companies that do conversion optimization out there. One I love is a company called Spiralyze based in Atlanta, I believe, they’re Atlanta, Georgia, somewhere around there. But they do performance-based conversion optimization where if they improve your conversions with copywriting, they charge you, if they don’t, you don’t pay a dollar. Number three, optimize your call to actions. It’s so funny, I see people testing their add to cart buttons, and you should, but a lot of times they use these really rare terms and I know it’s really hurting their conversions because we’ve run so many add to cart tests.Four, answer all the FAQ’s you can. Nearly 95% of customers turn to reviews when shopping online and swear that reviews are the most important factor that influences their purchasing decisions. Alleviate customer concerns that your product page copy doesn’t address directly. And that’s what the reviews will do. Earn their trust by demonstrating the product benefits and real-life use cases and saving time on repetitive FAQ’s for customer support.Five, increase sales by using scarcity and urgency. Amazon does this in great ways. Hey, there are only five left. And they don’t cheat, they don’t lie, they show you how many are really left. Or order this today and you can get it tomorrow. I’m like, all right, I’ll order this now. And it’s not just today. Order it within the next 40 minutes and you can get it tomorrow. Implying urgency in your headlines really helps these conversions and implying urgency in your call to action also helps. Adding stock urgency, just by default, like for Black Friday or during specific holiday season with a countdown clock, works super well.Number six, use cart abandonment email marketing sequences. Be specific, and be true to your brand. You want to be personal in your email. And by offering an incentive as well, you’ll find that you’ll get less abandonment to your email sequence and include customer reviews and testimonials like I just mentioned, that really does help boost conversion. Seven, multi-variant testing. There’s many elements you should test, right? So on your product detail pages, I want you to run tons and tons of A/B tests. And the more tests that you run, the better off you are and think about images, product descriptions, from what people prefer, what products they don’t like to the reviews, the placement of it, also keywords, keywords in headlines, keywords lower. You also want to test the keywords that you’re even bidding on and the keywords in your copy. You want to track signups, clicks, or any other conversion goals. You want to optimize your supply chains, your margins, and run tests there too. It’s not just on your own website. All these things help your business become more efficient as well. When You Have Thousands of Website Visitors but Can’t Sell More Than $100/Month [Video]

There are nine reasons why you typically can’t sell anything to your website visitors. Today I’m going to break down when you have thousands of website visitors, but you can’t sell more than $100 a month to your audience. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________A Step-by-Step SEO Strategy For Beginners | Getting Traffic With Old and New Websites: https://youtu.be/Eh6nlUyqP4MThe Quickest Way to Create Popular Web Pages (And Get Tons of Traffic): https://youtu.be/fOGF1Sq499gUbersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/Click Funnels: https://www.clickfunnels.com/Crazy Egg: https://www.crazyegg.com/____________________________________________The first reason is poor keyword targeting. Look, not targeting your ideal buyers is useless, it doesn’t matter how much traffic you have. It’s not just about getting traffic, it’s about intent. So what I want you to do is go to Ubersuggest, type in a keyword related to your space, and then on the left side, go to the keyword ideas report. The keyword ideas report shows you all the keywords within your industry. And this is giving you lot and lot of ideas. I want you to look for the keywords that have high traffic volumes and a high CPC. CPC stands for cost per click. The second reason is no sales funnel. Look, sales is like dating. But if you have a sales funnel, you can actually start converting people better because you’re taking them through the stages they need to go to in order to convert them. Check out our product called Click Funnels, it helps you create funnels really quickly, and they have templated funnels, depending on what industry you’re in they’ll automatically convert well. The third reason, no sales process. Ton of money is in sales. Just look at the company sales force, they’re massive. Why are they massive? Because they’re sales. So build out a sales team, there’s a lot of books that can help you that with sales such as “Winning by Design,” or “The Little Red Book to Selling” I believe it’s called, check that one out as well. And they’ll just help you get better at sales, and that can help you generate more revenue as well. The fourth reason your product or service isn’t a winner. One way is you just be in business long enough. But to be in business long enough, you need to a good product or service. If you have amazing product or service, that’s what’s going to create the growth in the word of mouth. Fifth reason, mismatch between your traffic and the product and service that you’re offering. For example, back in the day I used to go after a lot of keywords related to Instagram marketing, because there’s so much traffic related to it. So just how to get more followers or how to make money on Instagram, because I’m like, hey, you know, people who pay me for marketing they all use Instagram so I should educate them on Instagram marketing. But even though that is marketing, there’s a mismatch. Number six, you don’t have enough authority or credibility yet to endorse your product or service. I’m like, look, if I can rank my own website against other marketers in the most competitive industry, I can rank your website, and that really does help. You got to get that credibility, and at the beginning, it takes a while to really build it up but in the long run you’ll get there. Number seven, fine-tune your checkout process. A big thing in checkout process, I learned two big things that really do help. The first thing is what the checkout process is, number one, it’s all about two step checkout. The second thing that I found with checkout is, people want those options for payment.Eight, split test your product pages and see what’s working best with your audience. It’s all about conversion optimization. Just because you have a hundred visitors, you may not get one to buy from you or two or three. And if you’re not, in many cases there will be something wrong especially getting thousands of visitors. And nine, work on your call to action buttons. So again, it’s all about your CTAs and you can test that as well within Crazy Egg. Whether that’s add to cart, add to checkout, start your free trial, some of these bonds have a huge impact on sales and it may not be 20, 30%, but even if it’s a few conversion points it all really does add up.
