Get More Traffic Now: Insider Tips for Success [Video]

Ready to boost your online presence? From optimizing your website for search engines to leveraging social media and creating engaging content, Neil & Kate Kordsmeir cover all the essential strategies for attracting and retaining visitors.RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/AnswerThePublic: https://answerthepublic.com/ SEO Analyzer: https://neilpatel.com/seo-analyzer/ Principles: Life & Work by Ray Dalio: https://a.co/d/e9cRAwN Kate Kordsmeier: https://katekordsmeier.com/ ____________________________________________The reason I love SEO is it allows the little guy, the little man, the little woman, whatever you want to call it, and when I mean little, I’m not talking about size wise, I’m talking about dollar wise. people who don’t have tons of money, it allows them to compete with the big corporations without the same firing power. Just thinking of it like David versus Goliath. These big corporations, a lot of ’em don’t have, thousands of dollars of ad spend, they have millions and in some cases billions, right? Billions is more rare, but a lot of ’em have millions, some even hundreds of millions of dollars. And how do you compete with them? SEO can continually get you traffic, it’s your 24 hour salesman, even when you’re sleeping, and when you get the results, a lot of it takes, it’s from time and effort versus money spent. And yes, it takes longer to achieve the results, but once you get them, it can really change your business overnight. The problem with social media is the algorithms change all the time, it can really hurt you, the reach is continuously dying unless you spend more and more money. with SEO you create amazing content, you get that evergreen traffic. With social media, you create content, you get that hit for the first 24, 48 hours, unless you produce another hit, you’re not going to see much love from social media unless you spend that money on advertising. For some trends in SEO for 2023, the first one is a lot of business owners focus on content, when it comes to SEO traffic, ’cause the more words you have, the better off you’re going to be. I’m assuming they’re high quality, pieces of content, sure. But the problem with content is there’s so much content on every single topic, it actually is harder to get rankings and traffic now than it was five, 10 years ago or even two years ago. You search for any term like auto insurance, there’ll be a billion plus results. But people are only clicking on the first 10, right? Page one of Google, maybe page two, so you’re looking at 20 out of a billion plus results. Now, to get a lot of traffic, you also need links. So no matter how many pieces of content you create, if you don’t have that many links, it’s going to be hard for you to also rank well. One way to generate the links is actually by releasing a free tool. So there’s free tools that you can pop on your website for any sector. We have SEO tools and marketing tools and AB testing tools on our website and calculators. And you can go to sites like codecanyon.net and find tools in any space, like accountability calendar, I don’t know, I’m making this up. You can figure out what it is, you can spend 10 to 50 bucks, they’ll give you a white label version that you can put on your website, claim it as your own ’cause you’re paying for it, and they allow this and you’ll notice that over time, it’ll produce a lot of natural links, which will help your rankings drastically.People tend to link to tools more than they link to content. So if you have great tools on your website, you’ll naturally get links. These links help your overall site rank higher, makes your tools rank higher, makes your homepage rank higher, makes your content pages rank higher because Google will look at the overall authority of your website. This Helped Me Get More Traffic Right Away [Video]

You’re posting content – but why isn’t it driving any meaningful traffic?Bring more of the audience you want with this essential traffic-boosting tip. 00:00 Intro01:14 Promote a Product01:47 Broadcast Live Events02:18 Explainer Videos02:49 New Blog Posts03:20 Contests or Sweepstakes03:47 User-Generated ContentRESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/AnswerThePublic: https://answerthepublic.com/ ____________________________________________SEO traffic goes up and down all the time, so what do you do when you need a quick boost of traffic? It has almost nothing to do with your website. In fact, this traffic hack relies completely on social media. Can you guess what it is? It’s use Instagram Stories. Instagram is still huge, with over 2 billion, not million, billion, monthly active users, and 59% of them who log in every day. So what should you be promoting on your Instagram Story in order to drive more traffic? One, I want you to promote a product. 36% of the Stories promote a product. It works. Now with this product, when you’re doing a Story, just don’t say, “Hey, here’s your product, swipe up to buy it.” You can have multiple Stories talking about the benefit of the product and how great it is, in essence, you’re making your pitch on Instagram, and then they swipe up to go to the the landing page. You don’t want them to have to go to the landing page to learn more about the product, you want them to learn about the product through the Story so that way you’re drop-off rate isn’t as big, so then when they swipe up, all they have to do is just complete the purchase.Number two, broadcast live events. Show off what you’ve been working on or something new that you’re about to release. 10% of brand Stories feature various live events. When you end up doing that, people get excited, it builds anticipation, and you end up generating more sales. Have you noticed there’s a company that everyone knows that’s really good at this? It’s called Apple. Apple does big product launches, they have live events, and they build up that anticipation. Stories can help you do that as well.Three, explainer videos. Users love tutorials. 5% of businesses use Instagram Stories for how-to videos. And these how-to videos help you build a bond with your audience, then they can swipe up, go to your website, read the rest of the blog post or watch the rest of the video, and that will help to drive you way more traffic. And we found it super effective for people to start becoming more loyal to your blog, becoming a reader, subscribing to it through email, or by just following you on any of the social networks out there.Four, new blog posts. If you’re blogging, you can’t just post on your website and hope for the best. Promote the heck out of it. I share my content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, any social network out there, and I’ll even put in a new Story, “Check out this blog post, swipe up to read it,” and I’ll put something that’s catchy in the Story. So I may talk about, “Google’s about to release a new update. Swipe up to learn what it is and how to be prepared for it.” That’ll cause a lot of people to come to my website and learn more.Five, contests or sweepstakes. Want to really keep your audience engaged? Show off how they can win something exciting. Maybe a consultation, a free trial, or something exciting that you’re willing to give. Sweepstakes, giveaways, they’ve worked for ages, keep using them. That’s why when you go to a mall, you still see those giveaways of free cars. Or even you go to casino, they have all these giveaways. Why do they do that? Because it works.Six, user generated content. Look, UGC, or user generated content, is huge. 93% of marketers agree that content created by consumers perform better than branded content. For example, if you’re selling a product, and someone else has a video of them opening up and reviewing how amazing it is, put it in your Story. It’ll create more trust and more sales. Why Your Blog Strategy Isn’t Driving Traffic [Video]

Markers that prioritize blogging are 13X more likely to see a positive return on their investment. Though so few blogs actually drive traffic, let alone conversions. There can be many reasons for this, but here are my top 5 reasons your blog strategy isn’t driving traffic.0:00 Intro0:44 Reason #1 | You’re not incorporating images into your content1:33 Reason #2 | You’re not linking correctly2:33 Reason #3 | You’re not leveraging topic clusters3:11 Reason #4 | Your meta descriptions aren’t optimized3:52 Reason #5 | You’re not promoting nearly enough on socialRESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Canva: https://www.canva.com Dribbble: https://dribbble.com Upwork: https://www.upwork.com Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest ____________________________________________Did you know that according to HubSpot, “Markers that prioritize blogging are 13X more likely to see a positive return on their investment.” But here’s the thing. We all know that blogging is important, but so few blogs actually drive traffic, let alone lead to conversions. Why? There are tons of reasons, but it can be especially frustrating if you follow Google’s exact device, right? Here’s some of the reasons why your blog might not be generating enough traffic.Reason one. You’re not incorporating images into your content. According to Jeff Bullas, “Articles with images get 95% more total views than articles without images. And if you want to take it one step further, consider using infographics as well. Infographics tell a whole story. It makes a lot of you know, rich data type of content, easy to understand and digest in a visual format.Reason number two. You’re not linking correctly. Long-form content gets an average of 77% more links than short articles. But here’s the thing. The way Google crawls your website is by links. When other people link to you, they bind your website, and they start indexing. The more links you have, the more valuable your site is, but your links internally within your website is how Google also crawls your whole website, and figures out what articles are related to each other and which ones, should they rank higher. So if I have an article on let’s say, digital marketing and I’m talking about different strategies in digital marketing, such as social media marketing or SEO or paid advertising on Facebook, I would link to the respected article. So for example, when I talk about social media marketing, I may link to an article on the beginner’s guide to social media marketing. When I’m talking about SEO within that digital marketing article, I may link to let’s say, a guide on how to get started with SEO, and so forth and so on. That will help your overall site get more traffic and rank higher in Google.Reason three. You’re not leveraging topic clusters. Former product marketer at Buffer offered Lua built topic clusters around Instagram and marketing by interlinking articles related to the same topic. And in six months, weekly organic traffic went up by 48%. From 27,000 visitors to 40,000. That’s a massive increase. So consider doing clusters. You can also see this on Moz. They talk about the beginner’s guide to SEO, and they’ll have all these articles that they’ll link to that are more detailed when it comes to around SEO.Reason four. Your meta descriptions aren’t optimized. Title tags between 15 and 40 characters have a 8.6% higher click-through rate than lengthier ones. So make sure your title tags are short and to the point. Also, consider leveraging emotions within your title tags or even evoking curiosity. So for example of evoking curiosity is, the seven benefits of green tea. Number five will shock you. Whoa, what’s number five? It’s going to shock me. That’s an example of evoking curiosity, and with emotions if your titles or descriptions make people feel happy or sad or loved, those are all ways to get more clicks.Reason five, you’re not promoting nearly enough on social. Think your blog strategy starts and ends with your actual blog? Think again. 73% of marketers believe that social media has been very effective for their business, and it’s one of the best ways to promote your blog. How to Find Unlimited Content Ideas for Social Media in 2022 [Video]

How to find unlimited content ideas for your social media in 2022? This promise may sound unrealistic to you, and I get it. For most people, it’s super challenging to come up with even a few ideas for their social media content, especially when you’re not used to creating content in any way or shape or form. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________BuzzSumo: https://buzzsumo.com/Quora: https://www.quora.com/Ahrefs: https://ahrefs.com/Feedly: https://feedly.com/Semrush: https://www.semrush.com/Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________One of the most incredible things about the internet is that you have direct access to tools, ideas, and overall, just a bunch of people doing interesting things, and you can see what’s working for them and what’s not. You don’t need to rely just on your own creativity, you can leverage other people’s as well. And I’m going to show you how to do it on your own effectively and get all the ideas out there without having a team like me. So here are a few ways that you can start collecting ideas for social media. First is, questions from your customers. What questions do they have? Consider answering them. Comments on in your content. See, when you post up content, people leave comments. If people all like a specific comment, that means other people have that same issue, post about it. I also love looking at Quora. Quora has so many interesting things like, what does it take to be an Olympian, right? That’s really cool stuff. When you see stuff that’s really popular in your space, leverage that, post content around it. Then you have Facebook groups. Look at what users are complaining about, their pain points, what they’re commenting about, what they’re helping each other about. This all happens within Facebook groups within your industry. Heck, you can even look at FAQ pages on competitor websites. This provides tons of feedback. Then got Twitter search, you got YouTube, you got any platform out there like Ahrefs, Semrush, even Ubersuggest, it all tells you keywords that people are looking at. Heck, you can even use an Ubersuggest Chrome extension so that way when you’re on YouTube, it shows you other related topics and ideas that are popular as well. And you can see what videos are getting traction and which ones aren’t all through the Ubersuggest Chrome extension. Then you got Google Alerts. What’s popping up? And if you’re not sure what’s really sexy in your space right now, look at Google Trends. It’ll show you what’s booming within your space. Then you got Feedly, subscribe to tons of blogs within your space. You’ll see what they’re cranking out, watch the content as it starts to trend really quickly. And that’ll give you ideas. Then you got BuzzSumo, it’ll break down all the popular content within your space, or you can just use Ubersuggest content ideas and it’ll show you the most popular content, not just based on social shares, but also backlinks and SEO traffic. Now you’ve got content that works for social media and SEO. Why Your Content Gets ZERO Attention and Traffic (Even When It’s Fully SEO-Optimized) [Video]

Are you tired of writing content that doesn’t get read? Well, who wouldn’t be? But, do you want to fix it? Of course you do and I’m going to teach you how. Today, I’m going to break down why your content gets zero attention and traffic, even when it’s fully SEO-optimized. RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________Ahrefs: https://ahrefs.com/Ubersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________A study by Ahrefs showed that 90.63% of content gets no traffic from Google. Think about that, that’s one out of 10 pages that are getting traffic, nine out of 10 pages are getting no traffic. That’s a lot of content that’s getting no traffic, and there are a few reasons why your content is getting noticed. And there’s a few reasons why your content isn’t getting noticed. So, let’s go into each of the reasons. Reason number one, you’re targeting only head terms and keywords, because if you only target those big popular terms, you’re not going to get that much traffic. Start targeting variations of these longer tail keywords as well. Great example of this is, how to get more followers on Instagram? How to get more Instagram followers? You see there? One was, how to get more Instagram followers? And one was, how to get more followers on Instagram? So, when you do variations of these, and you build up those topic clusters or content clusters, to support your overall authority around those bigger topics and head terms, you’re going to start ranking better, and that’s how you compete with the Wikipedias of the world. Now, reason number two, optimizing for search engines instead of visitors. Look, no matter how much time you spend optimizing your on-page SEO, even making sure your content contains all the keywords that you’re targeting, the long tail ones, the head terms, the variations of them, that just won’t work if your content doesn’t help people. So, even if you put together the best content piece around the iPhone 13, and teaching people how to use it and all the features, that doesn’t really mean you’re going to get any traffic to it. People are just really looking in most cases to just buy iPhone 13. Reason number three, you’re not doing contextual internal linking. When you write content in certain area, let’s say you’re blogging about marketing, chances are there are plenty of opportunities for you to internal link to other content piece on your website. Let’s say for example that I’m writing an article about social media marketing, and you also have another page on Instagram marketing. Now, if I had to fudge in Instagram marketing into my social media marketing article and it doesn’t really fit, then I wouldn’t do it, but you already know Instagram is social media, so it should fit.Reason four, your page doesn’t have enough backlinks. Backlinks are still one of the most important ranking signals and Google takes it into account when serving users with search results. It’s just like a presidential election, the more votes the president gets, the more likelier to win. The similar way happens with the web. The more backlinks the page has, the more organic traffic it gets from Google. You should focus on creating content that has the potential to naturally attract backlinks and keep working on your link building efforts over time. Reason five, your content isn’t evergreen. Not every content piece should be evergreen, but the majority of your content should be. If you’re going to write content that is only going to be relevant for a month in your new site, that’s fine, but if it’s a huge amount of effort to create that content, then why are you’re really wasting it? Focus on long-term results.Reason six, your page takes too long to load. It goes beyond just SEO, it goes all about experience. I don’t care how many backlinks do you have or how good your SEO is, as a user, if I search and I click on your site and it takes like 10 seconds to load, do you think I’m going to be sticking around? No, unless you have like some crazy deal and you’re selling me an Apple laptop that’s brand new with no defects for a hundred dollars, I’m not going to wait 10 seconds. 7 Essential Skills Digital Content Writers Need [Video]

What you need to do as a writer is, you need to have concise statements.RESOURCES & LINKS: ____________________________________________How to Write Blog Posts That Consistently Rank Well on Google: https://youtu.be/CjzjUbA8nzAHow to Boost Your SEO Traffic with Sleeper Content (And Stop Promoting Worthless Content): https://youtu.be/kUih7iP-YZYHow to Come Up With Content Ideas That Drive Traffic: https://youtu.be/7l5btHy2rxQUbersuggest: https://neilpatel.com/ubersuggest/____________________________________________So if you’re a writer, you’re writing to either draw more attention in and eventually convert those eyeballs and that attention into leads, customers, right? Google analytics tells you what content they like, what they don’t, what’s causing them to bounce. It won’t explicitly tell you what’s causing them to bounce, but you can make some educational based guess based on the data that they’re providing. It’ll also tell you the type of content that converts the best, the type of content that doesn’t. So that way, when you’re writing, you can write with the end goal in mind, which is eventually you want to have a conversion, whether that’s someone buying right then and there, or turning into lead, and it’ll provide you that data. If you continually write and write blindly, and you write based off what people tell you is amazing, do your friends do, that’s all great and fine and dandy, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that what you’re writing is going to convert into revenue. So there’s over a billion blogs on the internet. That’s roughly one for every seven people. There’s a lot of blogs. The amount of content that’s being pushed out each day is so overwhelming. We don’t really need much more content, everyone’s regurgitate the same information. If you don’t have a strategy, how are you going to be different? How are you going to stand out? How are you going to convert people? What topics are you going to cover that solve the pinpoints of your customers? If you don’t have a strategy in place and a plan of action, then all you’re going to be doing is producing content that doesn’t really do anything at the end of the day. Even if you think that this is better based off of analytics data, but you don’t have the strategy and how you’re going to attack that, and how you’re going to go forward, then you’re just wasting your time and energy. So the first step in this strategy is attracting the eyeballs. And what you would want to do is see what’s in your space that’s popular. So there’s a tool called Ubersuggest that I have, and you can use it for free. You can type in a keyword or a phrase and click on when you’re in Ubersuggest you want to go to the content ideas report, it’ll tell you what’s popular based off of social shares, like Facebook and Pinterest. Search traffic, what ranks well in Google and how much traffic does it get and what keywords is a rank for. And the third thing is links. What other sites are linking to it because they like the content? So you want to look at the topics and the exact headline that are doing well, and it’ll also show you in the tool, what doesn’t do well. So you want to more so focus on creating content that’s popular on what people like. Now, you don’t want to just copy that and regurgitate what’s already existing on the web, but you want to do something that’s better than that. Think of skyscrapers. And in the United States we may have the Empire State Building, then you may have someone in Dubai who’s like, ah, we’re going to create the Burj Khalifa, I think was what it’s called. And it’s going to be even taller, it’s going to be double the height. I’m making it up. You’re going to have somebody in China say, we’re going to do triple the height, we’re going to have our buildings go into the clouds. The point I’m making is, you want your content to stand out and be unique, go above and beyond what people are already doing. because if something’s already popular and have worked well, if you do something that’s double, triple better, you’re much more likely to have your content do really well too.
