Plus, the way you can unlock more features as you need it and mean that as your business grows, activecampaign grows with you.Despite what you want also think, the lowest plan for activecampaign is actually cheaper than mailchimp too ! – Not many people would know that 😉 Sure, mailchimp might be simplier, but the advanced features of activecampaign has to be a clear winner. Both have reporting. Personally, I prefer the way that activecampaign goes much deeper and allows you to segment based on how people interact with your emails. I also use this to see if people are active and run a constant automation to delete inactive people off my email list.This actually helps on deliverability – because when you send out an email it’s not always automatic that everyone will get it. Some emails could end up as spam or in a promotions tab that nobody will ever see. So, by deleting out inactive people, you should give an instant boost to open rates too. All of which means you are able to build a healthy strong email list.There is more of a learning curve with activecampaign. And you will find that mailchimp takes more of a handholding approach. But this can get annoying once you know what you are doing. Plus there’s plenty of resources to guide the way through how activecampaign’s features work. Another strong point of activecampaign is the automations ! It’s rammed with templates or you can just make your own.
