Millie Bobby Brown was supported by her fiancé Jake Bongiovi at the London launch of her debut novel, Nineteen Steps.

The special event was held at the Hackney Empire on Tuesday night, with the 19-year-old caught in the rain as she arrived.

Stanger Things star Millie looked chic in a black one-shouldered top with buckle detailing, which she tucked into matching pair of trousers and accessorised with strappy heels.

She also opted for glamorous waist-length extensions in her hair, which she wore half up and half down, to show off her statement stud earrings, with a strand separated to fall over her face on either side.

Grasping an umbrella to keep herself and her partner shielded from the shower, the actress and Florence by Mills beauty founder hung back as Jake, 21, led the way to the entrance, holding her hand.
